Amazon is about to launch its new budget Tablet to fill the FIRE series and the price is surely on fire! The successor is packed with some interesting upgrades including the Alexa Hands-Free. For those who are not familiar with the series, worry not as we will walk this one through together.

First Glance

Taking a first look at its appearance, FIRE HD 10 comes with 3 color choices, Black, Marine Blue, and Punch Red. Although the design is not the best in the market, its simple look can serve every function and desire just right.

The screen is now full HD 10.1 inch with over 2 million pixels and its battery is claimed to last 2 hours more making the sum of 10 hours. The price also drops down a bit from its predecessor which is definitely a plus for our savings.

OS Observe

Similar to other Fire Tablets, FIRE HD 10 utilizes Fire OS to make it shine and it is doing pretty well. FIRE OS is an Android-based operating system developed by Amazon to use in its wide range of devices.

As a result, it carries a lot of nice Amazon-exclusive features such as Amazon FreeTime or BlueShade highlighting its multi purposes.

One of the most notable is “For You” an improved application launcher which monitors your recent activity as well as suggests what you might enjoy next.
